The form of divination is use is highly dependent on if I am seeking answers for myself or someone else. Another factor that must be taken into consideration for me is why and/or what am I trying to ascertain. I use rune stones, read tea leaves, palmistry/chiromancy (and also of the foot but I'm not as good at it as I'd like), meditation, moles on a persons body (rarely but a few times requested, seems to be a lost art), metoposcopy and physiognomy (also few times requested...more lost arts), numerology, scrying and tarot cards. The tarot cards I use rarely, as I have better luck in accuracy with the other forms listed above.

I have been reading runes since 1994. My good friend first did a reading for me about a week before my birthday. I thought is was so interesting. He then took me to an Occult store and I picked my first set out there. They came with a book of course and are the Viking runes. Two years later I bought the book "The Goddess Runes", and made my own set out of stones that I found on the shore of Lake Michigan. I use the Viking set more often, since the Goddess runes are more for matters of the heart. I enjoy doing readings. I have also gotten very accurate readings. I would recommend them for anyone. I have not attempted to do tarot yet. I feel more in harmony with runes.

I read tarot cards with fairly good accuracy, but have not really challenged my self with them, i.e. reading for someone that i dont know. I have also used a pendulum..sp? in a frantic search for our missing puppy, although it was unclear to me at the time, it was right on the spot. I will try to use it more often, possibly in combo with the tarot.

i gaze into crystals and senice i am a green witch i also use flowers leafs and other plants i use natur to tell me what i should do in life and i use my dreams to tell me the future, just so you know crystal gazing is when you take one crystal put it in a glass bowl of sring water at middnight stir then look in to see what you want, and using flowers and plants are just like using runes if you want to know more just get a good herbal magick book or get: a floral grimoire plant charms,spells, recipes,and rituals by patricia telesco: and useing my dreams well that is really hard whil i am dreaming in the middle of my dream i get a message telling me what will come.

I read tarot and runes.

I have been reading runes for much longer. I always find it amusing when someone says they are not specific enough. When they are in the mood I have been able to see specific situations, descriptions of people involved and personality traits. Tarot is a little harder for me, so I do as much studdying about them as I can.

I've been practicing with tarot cards for a while now and i've come to the conclusion that "The Faeries Oracle" by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth is the most personal and chalenging. Not only do you have to contact the faerie realm, you have to understand what each card means to you before you can begin to understand this sometimes complicated form of the tarot. But before long, the magick will reveal it's self to those who are genuine.
