can i use the protect an object spell with a picture of a loved one or do you have some advice. my son is 2600 miles away from me and i need to know he is protected.

Sure you can use a picture. But use it as a focus/visualization tool. When you are performing the spell, see your son happy, healthy and strong going about his daily life.

In my opinion, yes. It takes a long time to get past a Christian upbringing. I still have problems myself. The way that I've reconciled everything is that I see God/des as essentially being all things in one, sexless and ununderstandable in Its entirety. I see all the Gods both Pagan, Christian, Buddhist, etc. as One and as each person needs a certain "trait" that is contained in the One, they will name it. For example, a woman who needs to be extremely strong in order to fight for herself may call on the Morrigan. A person who needs a strict father figure may call on the Christian Jehovah.

I am sorry hon, but I am not able to help you. Study read and realize it is NOT about power or movies or tv.. it is about getting to know who you are within... be patient... the best teachers find you, not you finding them..

HI ! I was wondering if there was a spell that can make something appear? Like I was in the car and I forgot something I really needed and I was wondering if >there was a spell thatI could use to make appear with like I say something and >all the sudden it appears!! You know?

Well ... though there are many that are what we call finders, there is always a way to write this spell yourself. I have never made anything appear.. I have asked the little gnomes that tend to take my keys :smiling: to bring them back, even leaving play keys in a spot... sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesn'... is this magick??? not that I know of.. is it a way with coping with my annoying habit of not using the keyring?? yes... and to bring light on it.. I wish this was so... Spellwork is more about givng thanks.. asking for something from our God/dess... a prayer of sort.. not about power and wiggling noses....

What I realy want is to learn fire magic. Mainly controll of fire (like make a candle flame grow and shrink, or make fire come from my hands).

Well, it is possible to make a candle flame grow, shrink, quiver, etc., but it takes a lot of concentration to manipulate energies. As far as fire coming from your hands...it just doesn't happen.

I was hoping that you could help me with this. I know this may sound a little unusual. Please just read through. Most of my life I have been drawn to the idea of transformation. Now by body and mind are ??\craving for it. I was wondering if there is a way for me to focus my mind to complete such a task. This urge hit me about 6 months to a year ago and I have been able to focus somewhat on it before bed in meditative trance. Now it is all that I can think about. I have notice some inner changes. But they seem to have slowed or stopped. Do you know of anything that may be able to help me.

I've never heard of a process such as you speak of. I've only heard of simple temporary glamours which I don't really suggest. My question to you is, why are you not happy with the way you are? Maybe you should try and answer that question. We each are special creations and perfect in ourselves despite what others may say and what our own self-esteems issues may cause us to believe.

In reading "Embracing the Moon" (Yasmine Galenorn) she states that she is a witch, but not Wiccan. I had always assumed they were one in the same (I know never assume or you'll make an ....) What are the differences between Pagans, Wiccans and witches.

A pagan is a follower of any of the "earth-based" spirituality paths. A witch is a practitioner of magick. A Wiccan is one who follows the Wiccan religion. Most Wiccans and many pagans practice magick however, not all do. Hope this answers your question.
