Okay, I'm not gonna tell you that you don't know anything because of your age. I remember being twelve and I always hated that. I think I was thirteen when I began looking into witchcraft. Back then, I was really only trying to impress the other kids at school. But, what I read at thirteen stuck in my mind. When I began searching for my spiritual path eight years later, I remembered all the things I had read about the Wiccan religion.
You say you know you're a witch, I have to ask how you know. I'm not sure what it is you want to join, a coven, the Wiccan religion? I have to tell you this though, since you are so young my guess is that most of what you know from what you've seen on television and in the movies. Dear, being a witch is nothing like that. It's a lot of hard work! My suggestion to you would be to get a couple of books and read, read, read, to make sure that you're willing to devote your life to this path.
Here's a couple of really good books for you to look for. "21st Century Wicca" by Jennifer Hunter and "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practioner" by Scott Cunningham. I strongly suggest that you get the one by Jennifer Hunter. It's extremely east to understand. Also, read through ALL of the information at Witch's Brew.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

My sister found a peice of white twine tied to a piece of black twine in her bed and another in her chair. Does this sound like any thing to you?
A
To me it sounds like this would be a representation of balance. The white represents the positive and the black the negative. When placed together, they create balance. I can't imagine why anyone would leave these things for your sister without an explanation.
If I were your sister I wouldn't worry about it, but if she does, she needs to think about who would leave this and why. In my opinion, it's probably someone trying to freak her out. If you have any more question, feel free to ask.

Hello! I have thought about the subject for quite a long time, and I would like to become a practitioner of the white arts. Please send me any and all information needed to be a solitary practitioner. I love nature, and incenses, and oils. Almost everything in your web pages I can identify with.

First I must tell you, there is no white nor black magick. Magick is neutral, must as is the law of gravety. Is a gun black or white? No, tis the use to which it is put. The Wiccan Rede is "An ye harm none, to as ye wilt." This combined with the fact that what ever magick you send out, returns three fold, tends to keep one from doing harm via magick.
I am over joyed at your interest, and hope you will find this religion quite different from others. I must caution you however, this is not the easiest of paths to follow. You will be challenged and tested. None the less, the love of the Goddess and her Consort make all worthwhile. Remember Wicca is still a persecuted religion. This will make things a bit harder for you, however, hard roads often make us better people.
My best suggestion for you is to obtain a copy of: Living Wicca : A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham, published by Llewellyn Publications. It is available in larger book stores and I am sure your library either has it or can obtain it through interlibrary loan. Read through it and it will help you to understand Wicca and if this is your path.
Once you have done that, take a week, and each night spend 10 minutes in quiet peaceful meditation. Do this outdoors if possible. Try and clear your mind and let the gods speak to you.
If you still feel this is right for you, then purchase (as you will need to use it much longer then the library will loan if for): To Ride a Silver Broomstick : New Generation Witchcraft by Silver Ravenwolf, again published by Llewellyn Publications. The cover is hokey but the book is a course on Witchcraft and if you follow it, you will be well on the path.

Wicca is a wonderful peaceful religion, but it's not for everyone. Make sure that what you want is a religion and not just 'magick powers'. Forgive me if this sounds a little harsh, but I've been approached by several people asking for spells and such who think being is witch is like the movie "The Craft". If you're seriously interested, please read and educate yourself to make sure this is the path you want to follow.
If you need anything else, feel free to ask.

What if your soul mate is attached to another, or is now thirty or forty years older? Personally, I would look for the right person for you in this incarnation, and maybe that person is and maybe not. Look towards the future for the goddess would have us grow and not stagnate.
Spells are powerful and dangerous things. If you still desire such, I shall see if I can find such, but my advise, is to live this life and enjoy all that the goddess has given you.

Now a love spell cast on oneself to help bring true love into your life is well within the ethics of Wicca. Remember also, that half of Magick is changing ones outlook. If you are in a romantic dry spell, maybe it is time for some inward looking and self appraisal. One of the true beauties of Wicca is a chance to really change one's life, but those changes involve hard work and a strong dose of reality, but oh, the results are so worth the effort.
Personally I have found that being self confident, reasonably well groomed, and a willingness to engage in conversation without dominating it works wonders. Magick comes from within.

If you're serious about finding out about Witchcraft or the Wiccan religion, please do some reading. A good beginner book is "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practioner" by Scott Cunningham.

Many, like myself, who practice witchcraft follow the Wiccan religion. In Wicca, we believe in creating balance with all things therefore, we have a Goddess and a God. This creates a balance of female energy and male energy. So if you follow only the Christian God, there will be an
imbalance but, if that works for you, then by all means, go ahead.
Another thing is that there's going to be a conflict between witchcraft and Christian teachings for example, the Christian Bible says, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
Everyone has a different way of seeing their God, Goddess, etc. If you
want to follow the Christian God and practice magic, and if you can work around the conflict of beliefs, then follow the God you choose to follow. Just because there are conflicts of beliefs doesn't mean you can't do it. Do what feels right to you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hello, My friend and I just started getting into this magick. We have another friend who gave us some books, but some of that stuff that it says to do are a little crazy and out of our range. I was wondering if you could give us some advise on what we need to do to get started, some of the equiptment we'll need, and maybe some starting out spells that we could try. Thanks a bunch. It would really help out.
First, I wonder what books you're reading. A good beginner book for the Wiccan religion is "21st Century Wicca" by Jennifer Hunter. Notice that I said the Wiccan RELIGION. Yes, Wicca is a religion, not just casting spells and the like. I would strongly suggest that you read the above book or "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practioner" by Scott Cunningham before going any further in your magickal pursuits. Both of these books are well written and informative. They outline basic Wiccan beliefs and concepts.

Dear Brew,
Hi. Our names are _____ , & we we're Witches just like you.We have a very important question for you.We were wondering how we could become invisible? In one book it said,"You just need to focus on something."We really didn't understand his quote,so can you please help us.Also,we were wondering how to float above ground. We'd really appreciate it,if you'd write back with some answers. Thanks again for your patience!
Dears, I don't know what book you're reading, but I would suggest trashing it right away and getting Scott Cunningham's "Wicca: A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner". Never have I met or heard of a witch who could become invisible or levitate themself. If you want to practice witchcraft, please stick to reliable sources and don't believe everything you hear or read.

Please help me. I would like a spell that could let me know where my soul mate was or if he will come to me. Please help.
As I understand it, your soul mate is a lover, possibly spouse, from a prior life. As wonderful as it would be to find this person, is this really what you want, or do you want to find the right person for this sojourn on Earth?

I am just starting to get into stuff like witchcraft.. but I'm a guy so I dunno if it's called witchcraft.. Anyways to make this short I was wondering if you know of any refrences that are good for begginers..
Witchcraft is the same regardless of gender. In fact Wicca (the more formal name) does not distinguish between genders by giving one status over the other. We worship the Goddess and her Consort, giving each their due. I must caution you however, this is not the easiest of paths to follow. You will be challenged and tested. None the less, the love of the Goddess and her Consort make all worthwhile. I gather are young, and many Coven's do not take someone until they reach their 18 or in some cases 21st birthday. To an extent this is a bit of self protection for them. Remember Wicca is still a persecuted religion. This will make things a bit harder for you, however, hard roads often make us better people.

I love your web page on wicca it has helped me a lot! But i have a question, for your new spell to gain love, can it be used on a certain person? Or is it just to find someone? Thanks a lot for your time,
I will give you a simple answer but please read on as nothing is as simple as it first looks. A love spell can be cast either way, it is your intent that matters. That said, please do not cast it on a specific person without their permission, which would be darn hard to get I would think. "Excuse me, but can I cast a spell on you that will make you fall madly in love with me?" Nope, very little chance of permission there. The real question is one of ethics. Will making someone do something against their will be in effect harming them? Unfortunately the answer to that one is not easy either, and it is best to err on the side of yes.

hello i would like you to send me a fire spell so I can throw fire
Dear, where did you ever get the idea witches could throw fire? Practicing Witchcraft does not give one super-human, comic book powers. Witchcraft is a way of tuning one's self into nature and the natural energies found in all things.

I belive in God (the Christian God) but I would still like to practice
magick. Can you do that and not worship any of the dieties?
This is a tough question. In my opinion, I don't see why you couldn't
worshp the Christian God and practice witchcraft but, there's a couple of things you should consider.
