Lying 'neath a spiral veil
In a cradle of stars and moonbeams
Twilight's child sleeps soundly
In a mist of ethereal dreams.
Mother Moon nestles 'round
A blanket of warm, silver light,
And the planets twirl for the pleasure
Of the Twilight child's delight.
The universe swells with pride
And the angels all gather round
As Twilight's child is born.
Cries of joy through the heavens resound.
The sun pulls up his cover of night
And the stars dance and wink in jest
As Twilight's child sleeps soundly,
Safe against Mother's breast.
