Faery's Flight

The faery's flight
I take tonight
Over land and sea.
I will soar with the wind
Up around the bend
To dance 'neath the old oak tree.
Pan plays a tune
To the full blue moon.
The faey draw to the sound.
Back again
To the sacred glen
To dance the circle round.
Down the river,
My wings aquiver
With the water-dance melody,
Old spirits laugh
On my behalf
To see me dance so free.
The day grows nigh
And with a sigh
Back to home I head.
Around the bend,
I'm back again
Sleeping soundly in my bed.
