Color me the shade of red
For those who sacrificed,
For those who bled.
Color me an orange hue
Like Samhain's fires
‘Neath cauldron’s brew.
Color me in glorious gold
Imbued by the sun,
Its warmth do I hold.
Color me in Nature’s green
With its mystic beauty
And spirits unseen.
Color me in soothing blues
From ocean and sky,
Royal and true.
Color me in violet’s shade,
Like the twilight shadows
Of some enchanted glade.
Color me in earthy brown,
The rich amber tones
Of the Mother’s gown.
Color me black as ebony
To draw the light
Of wisdom to me.
Color me silver as Mother moon,
Full and seductive
As a lover’s croon.
Color me in the purest white,
The essence of soul,
My inner light.
These many facets
Of color you see,
Pray tell, what color
Will you choose to be?
