I was walking in a big mansion and normally i would be afraid but i wasnt. i started to walk through this room and it looked really nice with like crystal things everywhere and it was really dark on one side. i suddenly realized that if i went any further that i would die so i got kinda freaked and started to run the other way. then i heard this guys voice and he said "watch out for the ram that walks backwards because hell try to ram you" so then i heard it and turned around and there it was. it was dancing around backwards so i sprinted up the stairs that were down the hall and turned around to watch. then i saw this man walk up and hold it and lead it to a
pile of leaves which is weird since it was inside a mansion and he kicked them aside and their was a raw dead chicken under it and the ram started to eat it. thats when i woke up
what do you think?

To me this is about "the self" (the mansion) and the light and dark of it (room with crystals and dark aise of room), conscoius and
subsconscious aspects of the self. The fear of dying if you went "too
far" is more a symbolic fear of going so far, learning of so much that you would be greatly, entirely changed from who/what you are now . So there is a great fear of change or transformation of the self, through exploration of the self. A lot of us have this. You are alerted to a ram that runs about backwards and warned that if you come acorss it, it will ram you.The ram symbolizes a "driving force", the Will, in my opinion - and it isn't being controlled or perhaps as consciously directed as it could be so there it is, running around out of "control". A powerful force such as the Will not given some conscious direction and "be all over the place" and also create a lot of mess.So you hear it,turn around (become conscious of it) and run , in my opinion, to get a bit more of a detached perspective by running up the stairs and looking back at it. You see a man lead it (direct the Will) to a pile of leaves and there is something under those leaves one wasn't aware of. The ram begins feeding on the dead chicken, who may represent a part of the self or a condition/situation that has been respressed/one may not be readily aware of and that is no longer functional that can be changed with conscious directed Will to transform it (eat it). So to me this is a dream about not fearing the use of one's skills/Will to actively change things ( a main point in ritual and magick is the directed use of Will to create change) and also to draw attention that you may fear change of who you are at present by change and exploration. Perhaps the thing to think about is, that though you may change you don't ever really die, you just get a "tune up!".
